When I was in Peru, I was majorly impacted by a little boy I met at the orphanage. He was about nine years old. When I first met him, he followed me around and copied everything I said. I was pretty excited inside, because he was the first kid at the orphanage to follow me around and want to be with me. After talking to me for a bit, he rushed to his bedroom and brought back a little second-rate handheld game system. A McDonalds type thing. It required three triple A batteries, and he had one dead tripple A battery. I felt so bad that I had all the crap I could ever want, and he can't even get three little batterys. Then he did the most amazing thing I could every imagine. He held up the battery, and said "For you." I was stunned. He hardly had anything, and he wanted to give me one of the only things he had.
